The Yubari King is called so because it is only cultivated in Yubari, Japan. From the family of C. Melos, comes the cantaloupe, renowned for their orange flesh and green, netted skin. The fruit (and leaves) contain papain which helps digestion and is used to tenderize meat. The Horned melon is one of the most attractive and weird-looking melons on the market, with yellowish-orange coloured skin and lime green flesh.
